First aid for medical conditions

This course will leave you well prepared to handle and evaluate medical conditions, based on the symptoms, the persons state of consciousness, and the ABC-principle. This could be conditions that affect airways or breathing, the circulatory system, or the nervous system. We’ll train how to ask relevant questions, and through that initiate the first aid:

  • Stroke: Signs and symptoms
  • Dehydration
  • Seizures, including febrile seizures
  • Diabetes: Low or high blood sugar
  • Asthma, bronchitis and COPD
  • Pseudo croup
  • Cardiac embolism
  • Serious infectious diseases
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Acute abdominal pain
  • When and how to get medical attention
  • We’ll hold the course at your location
