Basic Life Support and first aid on children
DKK 5.500 excl. VAT
This course is targeted against people working with children; i.e. parents, school teachers, trainers or child care workers. We’ll cover accidents and alarm symptoms related to infants and children. When practicing CPR and first aid for choking, we’ll be using baby and junior manikins. Contents are as follows:
- Main points of first aid
- Reducing the risk of accidents
- Making the scene safe
- Checking response and the ABC’s
- Recovery position (children)
- Recognition of cardiac arrest and the chain of survival
- Calling for help – contacting 1-1-2 emergency services.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Choking – trouble breathing – blocked airway
- Alarm symptoms of infectious diseases
- Febrile seizures
- Psychological first aid
