First aid course for future first aid instructors, first aid providers, security personnel, and people working in hazardous industries etc. This includes environments where there are increased risks of specific accidents or emergencies, and where the knowledge and and skills of people helping until paramedics arrive are of vital importance. Contents:

- Making the scene safe and avoiding accidents in your daily life
- Checking response and the ABC’s
- Suspected back or spinal injury
- Moving an injured person
- Recovery position
- Making use of rescue blankets
- Recognition of cardiac arrest and agonal breathing
- The chain of survival and the Danish system of the “Hjerteløberordning”
- Contacting 1-1-2 emergency services
- CPR and the use of AED’s
- Choking – trouble breathing
- First aid for bleeding
- Burn injuries, chemical burns and poisoning
- Fractures and sprained or dislocated joints
- Accidents involving fall from heights
