Refresher: First aid for flex traffic and taxi drivers

This course is specifically for taxi drivers, mini-bus drivers, etc. It’s expected that your first aid certificate is no more than two years old. Content is as follows:

  • The main points of first aid
  • Checking response and the ABC’s
  • Respiratory problems in the elderly or the physically disabled
  • Choking – blocked airway
  • Recovery position and adapted recovery position
  • First aid after a fall from car or lift
  • Contacting 1-1-2 emergency services
  • CPR and the use of an AED
  • Stroke: Signs and symptoms
  • Psychological first aid
  • We’ll hold the course at your location
  • Certified instructor
  • First aid certificate
  • 5 hour first aid refresher course
  • Maintains your first aid skills
  • Valid for two years
  • Up to 16 participants
